MONOCHROME MOOOD
O motivu
A black-and-white photograph kept in a surrealist-humor mood shows a young Holstein calf staring straight into the camera from inside an old-fashioned bathtub full of foam. The contrast of deep black and bright white gives the composition a cinematic character straight out of independent film. Soft, diffuse light from a wall lamp in the background creates an intimate atmosphere, and the texture of wet fur and the porcelain tub build a surprisingly poetic tension between nature and everyday life.
